Job description - Conduct scientific examination and analysis of forensic exhibits in the respective division (DNA, Fingerprint, Chemistry, Ballistics & Toolmarks, Questioned Documents, Photography, Cyber Forensics); attend crime scenes for identification, documentation, collection and preservation of evidence (especially for DNA & Fingerprint); maintain chain of custody; operate relevant forensic instruments and techniques; prepare scientific reports; assist investigating agencies; and depose as expert witness in courts.
